This Supplier Code of Conduct (“Code”) sets forth the principles and standards that Nanotech Academy expects all suppliers, vendors, contractors, and their personnel (“Suppliers”) to uphold in their business dealings with us. Compliance with this Code, applicable Indian laws, and international standards is mandatory.
Suppliers must comply with all applicable Indian laws, regulations, and rules, including the Companies Act 2013, Prevention of Corruption Act 1988, Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and any sectoral regulations.
Suppliers shall maintain all required licenses, permits, and approvals to perform their services.
Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, extortion, or money laundering. Suppliers shall not offer, give, solicit, or accept bribes or facilitation payments of any kind.
Maintain accurate books and records. Invoices and financial records must truthfully reflect transactions and charges.
Avoid conflicts of interest. Suppliers must disclose any potential conflict to Nanotech Academy promptly.
Prohibit forced, bonded, or child labor. All work must be voluntary and in compliance with the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986.
Respect freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.
Ensure non-discrimination and equal opportunity regarding recruitment, development, and compensation, irrespective of gender, caste, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
Provide a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with Indian Factories Act, 1948, and relevant state regulations.
Implement measures to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
Manage environmental impacts responsibly: minimize waste, conserve resources, and comply with the Environment Protection Act 1986.
Protect all personal and sensitive data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and Nanotech Academy’s Privacy Policy.
Implement appropriate technical and organizational measures—such as access controls, encryption, and incident response—to safeguard data.
Deliver goods and services that meet agreed specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
Implement a management system—aligned with ISO 9001 or equivalent—to drive continuous improvement.
Suppliers may not subcontract without Nanotech Academy’s prior written consent.
Any approved subcontractor must adhere to this Code and remain the Supplier’s responsibility.
Nanotech Academy reserves the right to conduct audits or assessments—onsite or remote—to verify compliance.
Suppliers must provide requested information and facilitate audit activities.

Suppliers shall promptly address and remediate non-conformances identified through audits or reports.
Repeated or serious breaches may result in suspension or termination of the business relationship and may trigger legal remedies.
This Code is governed by Indian law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of New Delhi.
Suppliers shall acknowledge receipt and understanding of this Code by signing below and annually reaffirm their commitment.
